This is one of the “cancers” of banana trees, Panama disease. This needs to be treated with Mr Ganick BST.
Recommended method:
- Mix 30gm Mr Ganick BST + 30ml Mr Ganick Lepid 007 Concentrate + 20L water + adhesive. Then, spray on the trunk, affected areas and pour over the canopy.
- Spray twice a week for at least 4 consecutive times, and observe if the rotting areas of the banana tree become drier.
- If under control, switch to spraying once every two weeks after 4 consecutive treatments, then switch to once every 3-4 weeks after another 4 consecutive treatments.
**Usually, the rotting areas are difficult to treat, so observe if new banana shoots are affected. If the new shoots are healthy, it indicates that the disease is under control.
