The main reason for papaya fruits oozing milky sap:
1. Boron deficiency:
When papaya plants lack boron, the initial symptom is often the appearance of milky sap on the fruit’s surface. As the fruit develops, it may become deformed, with an uneven, bumpy surface and reduced quality. Boron is crucial for flower and fruit development, and its deficiency prevents proper growth and ripening of the fruit.
Solution: Use borax to supplement boron. Dissolve 10g of borax in hot water, then dilute the solution 500 times. Apply it to the soil to help the plant absorb boron and improve fruit quality.
2. Insufficient soil minerals:
The soil may inherently lack adequate minerals. To address this, apply Baba Compost-based Fertilizer to enrich the soil. Use at least 500g at a time and incorporate it into the soil to provide essential minerals for healthy plant growth and fruit development.
