Yes, this is Anthracnose, commonly referred to as Durian Anthracnose when it occurs in durian cultivation. It is a fungal disease that spreads rapidly in humid, rainy, and poorly ventilated environments. It can affect leaves, branches, and even fruits—causing black spots, cracking, and rot.
Recommended treatment:
- Mix 25ml–40ml Mr Ganick Moldy Guard with 20L of water, plus 2 pumps (about 10ml) of Mr Ganick Silwet.
- Spray once every 5–7 days. Once the condition improves, reduce the frequency to once every 10–14 days as preventive care.
- For best results, ensure thorough coverage on both sides of the leaves, as well as branches and around the fruit. Avoid spraying during the hot midday sun; apply in the early morning or late afternoon instead.
