These symptoms are likely caused by a scale insect infestation, which may have led to secondary fungal infections. Scale insects leave behind white waxy substances on branches and leaves, disrupting the plant’s ability to breathe and causing issues such as leaf burn, yellowing, and other health problems.
Recommended actions:
- Firstly, prune damaged branches. Remove dry and severely affected branches to reduce pest habitats and improve airflow around the plant.
- For smaller gardens, alternate spraying Mr Ganick Scale Terminator RTU and Mr Ganick Pine & Bonsai RTU twice a week (every 3–4 days).
- Add Baba Compost-based Fertilizer to the soil to promote healthy growth and encourage new leaf development. Apply one handful (about two scoops) each time to replenish essential nutrients.
