Durian tree with damaged top

How to save a tall, thin durian tree with a damaged top and new bottom leaves?

This old tree has reached a stage where it’s no longer in a condition to bear fruit. If the intention is to rejuvenate this old tree for fruit production in the short term, efforts must focus on encouraging root growth and promoting the emergence of new branches and leaves. After 1-2 years of care, there may be a chance for it to bear fruit.

For durian trees with a canopy shape resembling an umbrella, it is recommended to alternate between applying Mr Ganick Base Compost Extra (25kg per tree) and Mr Ganick 18 in 1 Organic Leaf & Growth Boosting Fertilizer (5kg per tree) every month. This monthly treatment aids in root development, promotes new leaf growth, and stores energy for fruit production. Once there are sufficient leaves and the weather conditions are favorable, the tree will begin to bear fruit.
