The pumpkin plant has contracted a viral disease transmitted by whiteflies. These whiteflies have spread the virus to the pumpkin, affecting the normal formation of flowers.
Recommendations:
- Trim off some of the severely affected leaves (retain 70% of the foliage on the plant).
- Spray Mr Ganick Aphid Buster to alleviate symptoms caused by pests and the virus.
- Apply approximately two handfuls of Baba Compost-based Fertilizer to the pumpkins plant to aid in recovery.
When using Mr Ganick Aphid Buster, please note:
- Shake the bottle before use.
- Pests tend to hide on the undersides of leaves, so be sure to spray the natural insecticide on the underside of the leaves.
- Avoid spraying in direct sunlight (especially around noon) to prevent leaf burn.
- Spray at least once a week for prevention; for severe cases, spray every 3 days.
