Flesh of the fruit has blackheart

Why is the flesh of the fruit turning black/ blackheart?

The flesh of the fruit turning black or developing a blackheart can be attributed to a deficiency in a specific mineral, such as boron, along with an insufficient water supply, leading to poor fruit ripening.

Recommendations are as follows:

  1. Add Baba Compost-based Fertilizer to the soil, applying approximately 10kg per tree or per 100 square feet once a month for two months.
  2. Then, in the third month, supplement with high-phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, such as Mr Ganick 258 Organic Fruit Tree Fertilizer, to help reduce this issue.
  3. Consistent and adequate watering is crucial, especially during dry periods. Water stress can exacerbate nutrient deficiencies and lead to poor fruit development.
